About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our team at Wesco. As an Outside Sales Representative - Safety Solutions, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and expanding existing customer relationships to drive sales growth and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to leverage company resources and expertise to drive sales growth.
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and pitches to customers and prospects.
  • Utilize sales management tools to track sales performance, identify trends, and optimize sales strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to inform sales strategies.
  • Travel to customer sites and industry events to build relationships and identify new business opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 2+ years of sales experience in a business-to-business (B2B) environment.
  • Proven track record of sales success and ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills and ability to learn new software applications.

Working Environment:

This is a field-based sales role that requires frequent travel to customer sites and industry events. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license and be able to travel up to 75% of the time. Wesco is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates.
