At Nicola Wealth, we are committed to making a lasting social impact through our philanthropic initiatives. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Philanthropy Coordinator to join our team and support our efforts in driving positive social change.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research and due diligence on charities supported by Nicola Wealth and the Nicola Wealth Private Giving Foundation.
  • Support the Executive Director in building relationships with charities and communicating regularly with them to ensure clarity and consistency.
  • Provide regular impact reporting to key stakeholder groups.
  • Support the Nicola Wealth Gives Back (NWGB) committee in evaluating charities and making informed decisions.
  • Create and manage opportunities for staff to engage in giving, volunteering, and related activities.
  • Work closely with our Internal Communications leader to share updates with all staff and develop philanthropy content for our internal SharePoint site.
  • Plan and project manage strategic events and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with project team members to maintain the project plan and reporting.
Requirements:
  • Related degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in organization and event coordination or program/project management.
  • Strong writing and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience liaising with philanthropists, major donors, or senior executives is an asset.
  • Experience in/knowledge of nonprofits/philanthropy is an asset.
