We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Applied Behaviour Analysis Support Worker to join our team at the Simcoe County District School Board. As a key member of our Complex Needs Team, you will provide direct applied behaviour analysis and related services to students in school and community settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct applied behaviour analysis and related services to students in school and community settings.
  • Participate in planning sessions, implement program plans, conduct and write functional behavioural assessments (FBA), and monitor progress.
  • Work as a member of a multidisciplinary team with field and school staff, colleagues, teachers, and service professionals to support students.
  • Design and write ABA programs, conduct functional behaviour assessments, and interpret results.

Requirements:

  • Minimum two-year college diploma in Child and Youth Worker, Development Service Worker, Educational Assistant, or Social Service Worker, or a University degree in Behaviour Science.
  • Two years of related experience working with children and youth who have high special education needs, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
  • Preferred qualifications include completion of a one-year post-graduate program in Autism and Behavioural Sciences, or a three-year program in Behavioural Science Technology, or Board Certified Assistant Behaviour Analyst (BCaBA) qualifications.
