Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Daniel Putnam. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in activities that promote their mental and emotional well-being.
  • Assist clients with light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy living environment.
  • Perform other tasks as required, such as administering medications and providing respite care.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
