Job Summary:

The Driver Route Reclaim is responsible for driving the company vehicle to collect customer products, scanning, sorting, and processing unsaleable and recalled consumer products for our clients as directed. This role requires efficient route management, effective communication with customers and colleagues, and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage assigned routes in an efficient manner, ensuring timely customer service and satisfaction
  • Collect required data with handheld scanning devices, record information legibly on route sheets and daily documents
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with customers, co-workers, and managers
  • Load/unload boxes on pallets and truck for delivery to food bank or warehouse daily
  • Follow written instructions containing route and client information
  • Perform simple math calculations
  • Interact professionally with various levels of internal/external customers, portraying a strong professional appearance and attitude at all times
  • Complete logbooks and understand hours of service regulations, performing Pre and Post Trip Inspections
  • Complete required reports and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 2+ Years of Experience, preferably in driving vehicles from at least 3 ton and route management
  • Maintain current required driver's license (Class 1 or equivalent), with an excellent driving record
  • Personal Driver's License required (Class 1 or equivalent); Commercial Driver's License preferred
  • Demonstrate reasonable computer skills, knowledge of internet, and ability to use a handheld scanner (with appropriate training)
  • Demonstrate ability to read a map
