The Program Development Educator is a key role in our organization, responsible for providing education services to rural facilities and community-based services. This position will work closely with leaders and educators within the organization to provide education services consistent with overall program direction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess learning needs of staff and plan, implement, and evaluate education activities/programs.
- Use a consultative approach and research to provide support to care staff and managers.
- Develop and deliver formal education programs.
- Collaborate with the PHC Director and PHC Managers to promote delivery of client-centered care through education programming.
Requirements:
- Experience in teaching adults, facilitation skills, and leading group activities.
- Experience with planning, implementation, quality monitoring, and evaluation.
- Three (3) years experience in the specific clinical area.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN).
- Comparable degree in education/adult learning may be considered.

- Intermediate - Clinical data analysis skills.
- Advanced - Problem-solving skills.
- Basic - Computer skills.
- Advanced - Leadership skills.
- Advanced - High-level interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
Knowledge and Abilities:

- Knowledge in education and program development, implementation, and evaluation.

- Ability to apply research to clinical practice.
- Ability to develop and deliver formal education programs.
