Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Shift Manager to join our team at Burger King. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet customer demands.
    • Train and develop our staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to provide excellent customer service and prepare high-quality food.
  • Operations Management
    • Establish and implement effective methods to meet work schedules and ensure that our restaurant is running smoothly and efficiently.
    • Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
    • Monitor and control labor costs, ensuring that we are operating within budget.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that our customers receive exceptional service, responding promptly to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
    • Monitor customer feedback and use it to improve our service and products.
  • Reporting and Record Keeping
    • Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports on sales, inventory, and labor costs.
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Work Setting
    • Fast-paced environment with a focus on customer service.
  • Physical Demands
    • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
    • Standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
