Job Summary:

We are seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to oversee the quality control process at our facility in Cambridge, Ontario. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that quality control inspectors are qualified, certified, and trained to perform inspections that meet company QA programs, procedures, and customer specifications.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and conduct training and certification testing.
  • Supervise and schedule quality control inspectors to ensure productivity and compliance with company safety regulations.
  • Monitor and maintain the operation of the Gauge Lab, including calibrations and certification of master gauges.
  • Evaluate and monitor the performance of quality control inspectors and candidates.
  • Develop and maintain inspection reports and checklists.
  • Support the inspection process in Operations and resolve customer inspector concerns.
  • Represent Quality Control in interdepartmental meetings and Continuous Process Improvement teams.
Qualifications:
  • College diploma or equivalent.
  • Technician/Technologist certificate in a related field (Engineering, QC, QA, Welding, NDE).
  • Five years of experience in Quality Control, preferably at a supervisory level.
  • Knowledge of fitting, welding, or fabrication.
  • Superior computer and communication skills.
