Job Overview

This role involves providing comprehensive and specialized Wound Care to clients in the comfort and safety of their homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing wound care management programs in hospital or community settings
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans for clients
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of client progress and treatment
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in wound care

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Registered Nurse/Registered Practical Nurse degree from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current registration as a member in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Two years' experience in wound care management, preferably in a hospital or community setting
  • Certification as a NSWOC/SWAN

Salary: $83,000 - $113,000 per year (dependent on experience)
