About the Role

C & C Construction is seeking a skilled Masonry Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for laying bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units to build residential and commercial structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and lay masonry units to build walls, chimneys, and other structures
  • Cut and trim masonry units to specification using hand and power tools
  • Construct and install prefabricated masonry units to meet project requirements
  • Lay bricks or other masonry units to build chimneys and fireplaces
  • Lay radial bricks to build masonry shells of industrial chimneys
  • Lay or install firebricks to line industrial chimneys and smokestacks
Work Environment

As a Masonry Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment, handling heavy loads and working at heights. You will be required to work in a team environment, communicating effectively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure project deadlines are met.

Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the construction industry
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work at heights and handle heavy loads
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively in a team environment
