Customer Service Sales Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales and Customer Service Clerk to join our team at Canadian Tire. As a Sales and Customer Service Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing sales transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling cash, credit card, and debit payments.
- Operate a cash register, manage cash handling, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Assist customers with product information, demonstrations, and recommendations to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
- Work collaboratively with the sales team to achieve sales goals and objectives.
- Participate in visual merchandising and inventory management to ensure a visually appealing store environment.
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, promotions, and sales events to provide customers with accurate information.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous retail or sales experience an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
