As a Senior Prototype Manufacturing Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in overseeing the development and execution of R&D prototypes in our Electrophysiology department.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the prototype build process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of high-quality prototypes.
- Document manufacturing instructions, including process workflows, flowcharts, and procedures for building prototypes under R&D.
- Liaise with the R&D Inventory Specialist to assist with order preparation, inventory review, and support for new component vendors.
- Prepare manufacturing instructions from pictures and drawing assemblies and BOMs.
- Track all built prototypes and coordinate traceability with the inventory team and quality.
- Manage inventory using Master excel sheets and maintaining it with frequent inventory counts.
- Reconcile inventory differences between physical stock and digital data.
- Track Equipment Assets and coordinate Test qualification instructions with the subject matter experts.
- Work with external vendors to ensure the schedule facility tasks are completed and documented in the electronic management system.
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering.
- Basic technical concepts and practices and a basic understanding of product or systems fundamentals.
- Experience using Excel for inventory tracking and master lists.
- Minimum 3-5 years related experience as a manufacturing engineer.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office Software including Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint, and MS Word.
- Familiarity reading mechanical drawings (CAD drawings) and Bills of Material.
- Experience using electronic document systems such as Windchill.
