Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Overnight Maintenance Technician to join our team at Fairmont Chateau Whistler. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety compliance of our property facilities and equipment, as well as maintaining the upkeep of our hotel facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure health and safety compliance
- Maintain and repair health club facilities, including hot tubs and pools
- Participate in the hotel's Emergency Response Team on an as-needed basis
- Collaborate with hotel departments to implement preventative measures to maintain the upkeep of hotel facilities
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a property maintenance position, with a working knowledge of mechanical functions
- Pool Operator Level 1 qualification
- Experience using various hand and power tools
