About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team as an Injury Prevention Specialist in a Part-Time capacity. This role is ideal for professionals looking to supplement their income with flexible, gig-based work.

Job Summary

As an Injury Prevention Specialist, you will work closely with client site management and safety teams to evaluate risks, deliver ergonomic training, and coach employees on injury prevention and pain reduction strategies. Your duties will include conducting ergonomic assessments, educating employees on proper body mechanics, and delivering hands-on deep tissue therapy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement injury prevention strategies to minimize workplace injuries and promote employee well-being.
  • Conduct thorough ergonomic assessments to identify potential hazards and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Deliver hands-on deep tissue therapy to enhance employee performance and alleviate pain.
  • Maintain accurate records of work and progress using DORN's systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with site management and safety teams to ensure effective implementation of injury prevention initiatives.
Requirements
  • Licensed Physiotherapist with a strong background in hands-on therapy and coaching in body mechanics.
  • 2-4 years of experience in injury prevention or a related field, preferably in an industrial setting.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to identify and address issues effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with detailed reporting.
  • Active professional liability insurance and compliance with drug screening standards.
