Job Summary

Olimpia Construction Ltd. is seeking a skilled Stucco Plasterer to join our team. As a Stucco Plasterer, you will be responsible for applying, leveling, and smoothing coats of plaster to exterior surfaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster to exterior surfaces
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for plaster application
  • Finish corners and angles, and create decorative designs in the finish coat, if required
  • Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow the coat to dry
  • Install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings, using hand and power tools
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms
Work Environment

As a Stucco Plasterer, you will work at heights, in cold and hot temperatures, and in dusty environments. You will also work outdoors and be willing to relocate.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Ability to work at heights, in cold and hot temperatures, and in dusty environments
  • Ability to work outdoors and relocate
  • Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Ability to mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency
  • Ability to smooth out excess compound and allow the coat to dry
  • Ability to install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings
  • Ability to erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms
Physical Demands

The Stucco Plasterer position requires physical demands, including bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods. The position also requires the ability to work under pressure and handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
