Business Development Manager

Pallet Terminal Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to lead our sales team in building relationships with business clients and managing negotiations of sales contracts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales and be able to communicate effectively with the marketing department to understand and communicate marketing messages to the field.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for establishing organizational policies and procedures in relation to sales, recruiting, organizing, training, and managing staff, as well as assigning, coordinating, and reviewing projects and programs. They will also plan, direct, and evaluate the activities of sales departments in commercial, industrial, wholesale, and retail establishments.
The role requires the ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will have excellent oral communication skills, be accurate, client-focused, efficient, and organized. They will also be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities include:
- Establishing organizational policies and procedures in relation to sales.
- Leading sales team in building relationships with business clients and managing negotiations of sales contracts.
- Recruiting, organizing, training, and managing staff.
- Assigning, coordinating, and reviewing projects and programs.
- Planning, directing, and evaluating the activities of sales departments in commercial, industrial, wholesale, and retail establishments.
Requirements include:
- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
- 2-3 years of experience in sales.
- Basic security clearance.
