About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Geo-Structural Engineer to join our team in Toronto. As a key member of our design group, you will be responsible for providing engineering services to clients on various design and construction projects.

As a Geo-Structural Engineer at Entuitive, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of underground structure projects, including deep basements, underground stations, and support of excavation systems.

  • Lead small to medium size soil-structure interaction design projects, particularly in underground structures and foundations, with minimal senior supervision.
  • Site supervision for infrastructure and building projects with focus on underground structures such as shoring and underground stations.
  • Interpret field and laboratory test results from ground investigation for design purposes as well as interpretation and preparation of Geotechnical Baseline and/or Interpretive reports (GBRs/ GIRs).
  • Perform design and analysis using various industry standard engineering software for underground structures, excavations, foundations, seismic site response analyses, slopes, etc.
  • Perform analysis and design tasks using geotechnical and tunneling finite element modeling software such as RocScience, PLAXIS, FLAC.
  • Carrying out seismic design of underground structures in accordance with relevant Codes and Standards in Canada and the United States.
  • Interacting with engineers from various disciplines and collaborating in the design of building foundations, bridge foundations, tunnels, etc.
  • Preparing design reports, design calculations, drawings, and specifications.
