Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Specialist to join our kitchen team at Easton's Group of Hotels.
Responsibilities:- Prepare meals in accordance with portion and quality standards specified in recipes, ensuring high-quality food items are delivered to guests in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean kitchen environment by cleaning all work surfaces used in food preparation on an ongoing basis.
- Ensure a clean, neat, and well-organized work area, including but not limited to reach-ins, walk-ins, and counters. Report any unsafe or malfunctioning equipment to the supervisor.
- Assist cooks and may assist stewards during peak activity periods, promoting teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
- Ability to comprehend and follow recipes.
- High School diploma or equivalent plus one year of experience in food preparation, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Some college preferred.
- Friendly and hospitality-focused individual with excellent attention to detail.
- Certification of culinary training or apprenticeship is desirable.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, stressful environment.
We offer a competitive salary of approximately $40,000 per annum, based on local market conditions and industry standards.
