Job Summary

Liam Construction Fort McMurray Ltd is seeking a skilled Masonry Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing and installing masonry structures using bricks, concrete blocks, and other materials.

About the Job
  • This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary range of $60,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in the trade and possess strong physical abilities to handle demanding work conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles or other masonry units to construct walls, partitions, and other structures.
  2. Lay bricks, stone or similar materials to provide veneer facing for buildings.
  3. Construct and install prefabricated masonry units according to blueprints and specifications.
  4. Read and interpret sketches and blueprints to calculate materials required for projects.
  5. Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools.
  6. Lay radial bricks to build masonry shells of industrial chimneys.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • The position requires physical stamina to perform tasks that involve heavy lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
