About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Masonry Specialist to join our team at Liam Construction Fort McMurray Ltd. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for laying bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units to construct buildings and other structures.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will possess excellent physical stamina, as this role involves working in various locations, including industrial sites and construction zones. You will work closely with our team to prepare and install prefabricated masonry units, ensuring accuracy and quality in your work.

Responsibilities
  • Lay bricks, stone, or similar materials to provide veneer facing on buildings and structures.
  • Construct and install prefabricated masonry units, following blueprints and sketches.
  • Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to calculate materials required for each project.
  • Lay radial bricks to build masonry shells of industrial chimneys.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the trade.

Salary and Benefits
