About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Team Management: Provide guidance and support to sales associates to ensure they are meeting sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
  • Sales and Profit: Analyze sales data and develop strategies to drive sales and profit growth.
  • Visual Merchandising: Collaborate with the visual merchandising team to create visually appealing store displays that drive sales.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service and are satisfied with their shopping experience.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels to ensure that the store is well-stocked and that sales are not impacted by stockouts.
  • Store Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures, and ensure that the store is clean and organized.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 3 years' experience in the retail environment, with a proven track record of driving sales and profit and supervising a team.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Familiarity with reading and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs). Ability to move and/or lift boxes and fixtures throughout the store. Capability to stand for long periods. Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and select holidays.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the fashion retail industry, an asset. Experience in visual merchandising, an asset. Familiarity of the MATT & NAT brand, company values, and understanding of our vegan beliefs.
