Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, train, and supervise a team of staff to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of quality.
  • Develop and implement business strategies to increase revenue, improve efficiency, and enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure accurate financial planning and decision-making.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible deals for our hotel.
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and implement training programs to enhance staff performance.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners to drive business growth and revenue.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records, reports, and data to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in hotel management or a related field.
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong analytical and financial management skills.
  • Proficiency in central reservation systems (CRS) and other relevant software.
  • Ability to relocate to a rural area and work in a remote location.
