Job Summary

Federated Co-operatives Limited is seeking a skilled Fuel Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our petroleum division, you will be responsible for delivering products to our customers in a professional and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to customers, including assisting with inquiries and providing product knowledge.
  • Deliver products to customers in a timely and safe manner, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in maintaining a customer contact program, working closely with the Petroleum Division Manager.
  • Maintain and clean delivery units, trailers, and equipment, ensuring service records are up-to-date.
  • Assist in organizing and maintaining a professional appearance of petroleum and agro-related products.
  • Assist in organizing and maintaining our cardlock facilities.
  • Prepare and submit accurate and timely driver reports.
  • Operate and maintain equipment in a safe and effective manner.
  • Assist other departments with deliveries throughout the year.
  • Assist with management of inventory.

Requirements

  • Valid 3A license or higher (1A preferred).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of petroleum and agro products an asset.
  • Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, outgoing, and energetic personality.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
  • Physically able to perform heavy lifting.
  • Current certification in TDG and WHMIS required.
  • Computer skills an asset.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment testing as per Southland's Alcohol & Substance Policy.
