About the Job

As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of resident suites, public areas, and support spaces. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will ensure that our residents feel comfortable and supported in their homes.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain the commercial laundry in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition.
  • Collect, clean, and redistribute community laundry.
  • Properly sort, wash, and dry linens according to approved procedures.
  • Responsible for trash collection and removal, maintaining trash receptacles and collection areas in a clean and sanitary manner.
  • Assist Care Givers and Department Leaders with resident care when requested.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A desire to work with seniors.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • The ability to provide housekeeping and laundry services in a resident-centered environment.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • The ability to work semi-independently without direct supervision.
