Job Summary

Riverdale Poultry Express Inc is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Logistics: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Certifications: AZ class license, Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, Commercial Vehicle Operator's Registration (CVOR) Certificate, Driver's License (Class 1 or A), and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in the field of employment.
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
