Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pipe Fitter/Plumber to join our team at Maple Leaf Foods. As a key member of our production facility, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing equipment to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct planned preventive and predictive maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime and optimize performance
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex piping systems and equipment
  • Participate in preventive maintenance programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Develop and maintain detailed maintenance records and reports
  • Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance strategies and plans

Requirements:

  • Certified Steam Fitter/Pipe Fitter and Plumber
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on maintenance and reliability
  • Strong understanding of piping systems and equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
