Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review monthly corporate financial statements and reporting packages.
  • Oversee and manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable teams, ensuring clear accountabilities and deliverables for team members.
  • Lead the payroll function for the company, ensuring compliance with local, provincial, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Support the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with group-wide payroll oversight and initiatives as required.
  • Oversee office administration and ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
  • Lead the implementation of future ERP conversions and support the CFO with merger and acquisition activities.

Requirements:

  • Professional accounting designation (CPA) and a Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • Public practice experience is considered an asset.
  • 5+ years of post-designation experience in a senior finance role.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting and corporate tax principles.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
