We are seeking an experienced Corporate Financial Leader to join our team at Price Steel Ltd. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned accounting professional with a strong track record of leadership and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review monthly corporate financial statements and reporting packages.
- Oversee and manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable teams, ensuring clear accountabilities and deliverables for team members.
- Lead the payroll function for the company, ensuring compliance with local, provincial, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Support the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with group-wide payroll oversight and initiatives as required.
- Oversee office administration and ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
- Lead the implementation of future ERP conversions and support the CFO with merger and acquisition activities.
Requirements:
- Professional accounting designation (CPA) and a Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
- Public practice experience is considered an asset.
- 5+ years of post-designation experience in a senior finance role.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting and corporate tax principles.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
