As a Platform Engineering Expert, you will optimize the use of our platform, focusing on creating a seamless user experience. Your daily life will include:

  • Designing and proposing scalable, high-performance, efficient, resilient, and secure solutions in alignment with our strategic directions;
  • Encouraging the adoption of our platform within the organization through workshops, training sessions, and practical presentations;
  • Using the platform daily to identify areas for improvement and optimize the user experience;
  • Designing and proposing new platform architectures or tools to the community, ensuring they effectively meet the needs of development teams and provide concrete solutions;
  • Collaborating with other platform teams and DevOps Leads to facilitate and accelerate the delivery of value to development teams;
  • Designing and developing tools and applications to simplify the administration and use of the platform for users using programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, and Go;
  • Regularly auditing systems and application logs to identify suspicious activities and recommend solutions to mitigate risks;

Your profile

We are looking for a platform engineering expert with a minimum of 8 years of experience in deployment, administration, and troubleshooting of production systems. You should have a degree in computer science (DEC/BAC) or equivalent, preferably in a technical discipline such as computer science or software engineering. You should also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present technical ideas clearly and concisely. Proficiency in both English and French (spoken, written, and read) is preferable.
