We are seeking a highly skilled Food and Beverage Events Specialist to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of food and beverage events, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to discuss event details, including menu options, layout, and logistics
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of events, including food and beverage preparation, setup, and service
- Monitor and control event budgets, ensuring that expenses are within approved limits
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure repeat business and referrals
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and excellence
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality, events, or related field preferred
- At least 1 year of experience in food and beverage events, hospitality, or related field
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, as well as local health and safety regulations
