Job Summary

Bhavanbhai Bhoola is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistant to join our team. As a Home Care Assistant, you will provide personalized care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, as well as assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in activities such as conversation, reading, and hobbies
  • Assist clients with daily tasks, such as medication management and appointment scheduling
  • Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports persons with disabilities, newcomers and/or refugees, youth, and Indigenous people
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
