Environmental Project Manager Job Description

The primary function of the Environmental Project Manager (Consultant) is to coordinate and/or manage various environmental site assessment and remediation projects across BC.

  • Manage remediation and reclamation environmental field work programs.
  • Review and approve technical reports.
  • Liaise with regulators, contractors, and other third parties.

Qualifications for Environmental Project Manager

  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in contaminated sites/reclamation/natural sciences in environmental consulting in BC, with 5+ years of project management experience.
  • Technical diploma or degree in a related discipline.
  • Extensive knowledge of BCER Regulations and experience in managing technically complex projects.
  • Energy, intelligence, and integrity are essential for this role.
  • Experience working with a dynamic team and overseeing cost controls.
  • Excellent communication, technical writing, and problem-solving skills.
