Job Opportunity: Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream

The appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream, with an anticipated start date of January 1, 2025.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach and develop curriculum in Pharmacy, Program Evaluation, and Artificial Intelligence in Pharmacy Education/Practice
  • Contribute to the development of innovative teaching methods and pedagogical inquiry
  • Collaborate with faculty members to enhance the academic program
  • Engage in service activities to support the faculty and university
Requirements:
  • PhD degree in Pharmacy, Data Sciences, Health Services, or a related field
  • Minimum of five years of professional practice experience or teaching experience in a degree-granting program/post-secondary institution
  • Excellent teaching and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with faculty members and staff
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in program evaluation and artificial intelligence in pharmacy education/practice
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Ability to mentor students and colleagues
