About the Role

**Job Title:** Family Therapist

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Therapist to join our team at the Child Development Institute. As a Family Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing mental health services to children, youth, and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead assessments and treatment planning processes, monitoring progress and adjusting plans as needed.
  • Provide individual, family, and group counseling services to children and their families.
  • Develop and implement case management plans, coordinating with internal and external professionals and organizations as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client documentation, including assessment reports, intervention plans, and progress notes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for clients.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • Eligibility to register with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) or a Registered Psychotherapist in Ontario.
  • Experience working with children, youth, and families in a therapeutic or clinical setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
