We are seeking a skilled Communications Manager to join our Corporate Services & Stakeholder Relations Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective internal and external communication strategies and plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement internal and external communication strategies and plans.
- Manage company media interactions, including providing direction on media opportunities and responding to media inquiries.
- Create and execute strategies to increase employee awareness and engagement.
- Prepare internal communication materials, including presentations, speaking notes, and newsletters.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve communication goals.
- Provide strategic communications advice to senior management.
Requirements:
- University degree in Communications, Public Relations, Business, or equivalent.
- Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) is preferred.
- Greater than five (5) years' of professional communications experience and greater than three (3) years' experience in a managerial role.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License.
- Skilled in research and analysis of media data.
- Advanced knowledge in social media platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
