About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Flex Fitness Club Inc. as a Rehabilitation Support Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Treatment Programs: Assist physiotherapists and occupational therapists in carrying out treatment programs to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Documentation: Document patient rehabilitation progress to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Scheduling: Schedule and confirm appointments to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
  • Medical History: Take patients' general medical and ophthalmic history to inform treatment plans.
Work Environment

As a Rehabilitation Support Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to perform repetitive tasks and manual dexterity will be essential for your role.

Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
