Your Opportunity:
Alberta Health Services is seeking a dedicated and experienced nursing professional to fill the role of Manager at Willow Square Continuing Care Centre. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care and services. Your expertise in nursing and management will be instrumental in fostering a positive and supportive work environment, promoting resident-centered care, and ensuring the overall success of the facility.
About the Role:
The Manager will be responsible for leading a team of healthcare professionals, developing and implementing effective operational strategies, and ensuring the delivery of safe and efficient care to residents. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff to achieve their best. Your passion for resident-centered care and commitment to excellence will be essential in driving the success of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve patient care and services
- Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals to achieve high-quality patient outcomes
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of care
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care delivery and services
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including residents, families, and community partners
Requirements:
- Current registration with CRNA
- Minimum of five years' nursing experience in Continuing Care and/or Acute Care
- Minimum of two years' management experience within a unionized environment
- Knowledge and understanding of CCHSS, Accreditation, and Accommodation Standards
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
