Establish yourself as a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic with Toromont Cat in Eastern Canada. We're seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Field Service Technician, working directly with customers to provide top-notch service and product expertise.

About the Role:

  • You'll be responsible for diagnosing mechanical problems using Caterpillar testing equipment and leveraging your technical skills to maintain quality workmanship.
  • You'll possess a strong work ethic and positive attitude, ensuring repairs are completed efficiently and safely.
  • You'll work closely with customers, maintaining excellent communication and trusted relationships through regular on-site visits.
  • You'll have opportunities to continuously learn, grow, and develop within our Toromont team through internal training programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain quality workmanship to repair heavy equipment within established time standards.
  • Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound, and healthy work behaviors at all times.
  • Diagnose mechanical problems using Caterpillar testing equipment.

Requirements:

  • A valid Heavy Equipment Technician License (421A) relative to this position.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in repair and service of heavy equipment.
  • Familiarity with Cat systems (ET and SIS).
