Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic Apprentice to join our team at McDowell Equipment.

This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity for career advancement in a dynamic and growing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and inspect heavy-duty equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Diagnose and repair complex engine problems using advanced testing equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and repairing equipment
  • Servicing attachments and working tools
  • Verify and repair emission control systems

Requirements:

  • Red Seal Certificate as an Agricultural Equipment Technician
  • Valid Class 3 or D Driver's License
  • Truck and Coach Service Licence (310T)
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Level three, four, and five apprenticeship training in heavy-duty equipment mechanics

Salary and Benefits:
