Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at J S Convenience Store. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of cashiers, retail salespersons, and sales clerks
- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure efficient workflow
- Customer Service and Sales
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer complaints in a timely manner
- Sell merchandise and promote products to customers
- Inventory Management and Reporting
- Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
- Operational Efficiency
- Authorize payments by cheque and resolve issues related to supply shortages
- Work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity
- Education and Experience
- College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a retail management role
- Personal Qualities
- Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Client-focused and reliable with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing situations
This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The work environment is fast-paced and requires the ability to work under pressure. Standing for extended periods is also required.
