Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist II to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality respiratory care to our patients, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide ongoing respiratory care to patients with a variety of illnesses and diseases, including acute and chronic cardio-respiratory conditions.
  • Work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team to enhance the quality of life for our patients and their families.
  • Consult, confer, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain and advance your clinical competence through ongoing education and professional development.
  • Participate in committees and research projects as assigned.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a recognized Respiratory Therapy program.
  • Current certification with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT) and eligibility for registration with the British Columbia Society of Respiratory Therapists (BCSRT) and CSRT.
  • Current valid BC Driver's License as required in the specific practice area.
