Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Canada's Best Value Inn. As a Front Desk Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, handling room reservations, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Services: Greet and register arriving guests, assign rooms, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
  • Room Management: Process group arrivals and departures, take, cancel, and change room reservations, and calculate charges and receive payments.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and provide customer service to guests.
  • Support Services: Assist clients/guests with special needs, contact customers to deliver requested wake-up calls, and provide general information about points of interest in the area.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform clerical duties, such as faxing, filing, and photocopying, and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
