Job Title: Cement Finishing Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Cement Finishing Supervisor to join our team at BuildCo Contracting Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Cement Finishing Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the cement finishing operations on our construction sites. This includes supervising workers, coordinating activities, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of cement finishing teams
  • Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize delays
  • Oversee the training and development of apprentices and new staff members
  • Recruit and hire new staff members as needed
  • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed and that a safe working environment is maintained
  • Recommend personnel actions and participate in performance management
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Or equivalent experience
