Digital Design Engineer Intern

As a Digital Design Intern at Semtech, you will be part of our dynamic team environment and work alongside senior designers to develop high-performance digital circuits for our data communications products. Your responsibilities will include design, development, and verification of digital circuits, as well as layout, simulation, and verification of digital blocks using the latest CAD tools.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop digital circuits for use in our data communications products
- Layout, simulation, and verification of digital blocks using the latest CAD tools
- Collaborate with senior designers to ensure high-quality work and meet project milestones
- Participate in the development of digital design and verification methodologies
To be successful in this role, you will need a good understanding of digital electronic circuit fundamentals, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to learn quickly and work independently or in a team environment. Familiarity with SystemVerilog, Verilog, or VHDL, as well as CAD tools used in the digital design flow, would be an asset. Experience with scripting languages such as Python would also be beneficial.
