We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with colleagues, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide emergency nursing care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions, from non-urgent to life-threatening.
- Assess patients' needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Participate in education and training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge in emergency nursing.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and teamwork.
- Current registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
- Two years' recent experience working in a tertiary care Emergency Department and/or two years' recent medical/surgical experience.
- Completion of an approved post-basic emergency nursing specialty program or equivalent training and experience may be considered.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACL) for Emergency room.
