Adecco Canada is Hiring Counterbalance Operators in Oakville, ON

We are seeking experienced Counterbalance Operators to join our team in Oakville, ON. As a Counterbalance Operator, you will be responsible for moving materials within a warehouse environment.

Job Duties:
  • Responsible for moving materials within warehouse.
  • Perform a variety of physically demanding duties, such as manually loading and unloading goods.
  • Follows all company safety, security, and housekeeping protocols.
  • Loading trucks, offload trucks and able to operate a slip sheet to unload containers
  • Must be comfortable driving and working in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
  • Valid counterbalance forklift Certification.
  • At least 1 year experience of operating counterbalance forklifts in a warehouse environment
  • Must possess previous warehouse experience and be comfortable with general labour including case picking, palletizing product
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Experience with slip sheet is an asset
  • High energy, and ability to follow processes
  • Strong communication skills to interact with staff and outside drivers in dispatch,
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
