About the Role

The Physiotherapy Rehabilitation Support Specialist will work under the direction of physiotherapists and occupational therapists to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering tests using equipment, instructing patients on test procedures, and recording results. Additionally, they will carry out treatment programs, maintain clinical and progress reports, document patient rehabilitation progress, process files and paperwork, schedule and confirm appointments, and take patients' general medical and ophthalmic history.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer tests using equipment and instruct patients on test procedures
  • Carry out treatment programs under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists
  • Maintain clinical and progress reports
  • Document patient rehabilitation progress
  • Process files and paperwork
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Take patients' general medical and ophthalmic history
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A strong understanding of physiotherapy principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week. The successful candidate must be able to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking environments and be physically demanding at times.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
