Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Technician Assistant to join our team at AFS AUTOMOTIVE LTD. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will provide support to our technicians and contribute to the smooth operation of our vehicle maintenance services.

Responsibilities
  • Assist technicians with vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks, including moving tools and equipment, holding stakes during surveying activities, and signaling safety procedures to other workers and the general public.
  • Help tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned by supervisors or team leaders.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
