Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Conduct regular quality checks to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that staff are adequately trained and equipped to meet customer demands.
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates, monitoring expenses and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing accurate and timely reports to management.
  • Customer Service and Relations
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, promoting loyalty and repeat business.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service or restaurant management role.
  • Work Setting
