About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at Sonepar, a leading distributor of electrical products and related solutions. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of orders, inventory management, and overall warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete pre-shift inspections for forklifts, including battery maintenance
  • Maintain safety compliance when operating the forklift
  • Report any unsafe work conditions that may occur
  • Monitor and track inventory per company procedures
  • Adhere to standards and processes in the warehouse
  • Order picking and putting stock away in appropriate locations
  • Operate scanning gun and process orders as received
  • Assist with general cleaning of the work environment
  • Participate in re-certification for forklift operation, as required
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • First Aid, WHMIS, or Forklift Certification preferred
  • Forklift experience is required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Minimum 2+ years of warehouse, production, or general labor-related experience
  • Pass a background check and physical test
