As a Community Services Supervisor, you will play a vital role in supporting the well-being of Indigenous children, youth, and families at Anishinabek Employment & Training Services. We are seeking an experienced professional with a minimum three-year BSW or other three-year Social Services Degree and three years or more managerial experience in Child Welfare Protection Services.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of our Agency's Mikinaak Service Model and be able to provide leadership and direction to Child Wellness staff. A four-year HBSW is preferred, but candidates without the specific education qualifications who possess an appropriate combination of child welfare experience and other academic qualifications will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing leadership and direction to Child Wellness staff
- Ensuring consistency with our Agency's Mikinaak Service Model
- Supporting the well-being of Indigenous children, youth, and families
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum three-year BSW or other three-year Social Services Degree
- Three years or more managerial experience in Child Welfare Protection Services
- Four-year HBSW preferred
- Direct service experience with Indigenous children, youth, families, and communities
